Neilson Place, the whole of market protection advice arm of the Neilson Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bronja Whitlock to the position of Sales Manager with immediate effect. Previously Sales Manager at local advice firm Drewberry, Bronja will head up the new Neilson Place sales office in Haywards Heath which opened in May.
This comes as Neilson Place looks to scale up its business - which celebrated its 1st anniversary in May - by doubling its mortgage and protection salesforce from 25 to over 50 individuals during 2021.
Paul Foody, Commercial Director and one of the founding members of Neilson Place comments “Over the last year, we’ve built the foundations of a modern mortgage and protection advice business remotely, despite the uncertainties presented by the COVID pandemic. The business is thriving and we’re now looking to expand our footprint beyond our existing Surrey and Nottingham base and double our salesforce to meet demand.”
He continued “Our growth has been accelerated by providing advice to those Neilson Group customers who have been declined during the direct sales process due to their more complex product and underwriting needs. Since signposting was automated into Neilson Group’s direct brands and aggregator proposition six months ago, our specialist advisers have helped 1,500 customers obtain cover they may not otherwise have found.”
Commenting on her appointment, Bronja said “I’m delighted to be joining Neilson Place to establish their new Haywards Heath office at such an exciting time in their development. We’re seeing a resurgence of interest in both mortgage and protection business now the pandemic is receding, and this coupled with helping Neilson Group’s declined customers find much-needed protection, gives us a great platform for growth
