Neilson Group is excited to announce the recent addition of Zurich to the insurer panel for its online aggregator proposition which powers both Choozi and GoCompare’s life insurance offering.
This proposition sees Neilson offer a range of critical illness and underwritten life insurance products, together with guaranteed whole of life products for the over 50’s, direct to consumers who are looking to purchase cover online.
The addition of Zurich’s life insurance and critical illness products also extends to Neilson’s partnership with leading UK aggregator GoCompare, which was announced in September 2020.
Other available insurers on both panels are Aegon, AIG, BGL Group (Beagle Street, Budget Insurance and Virgin Money), British Seniors, Canada Life, HSBC, Legal and General, LV=, One Family, Post Office, Royal London and Scottish Widows - bringing the total number of insurers offered to 15.
Commenting on the addition of Zurich, Pippa Keefe, Neilson Group’s Partnerships and Strategy Director said “Our online aggregator service is a key, strategic proposition for Neilson Group and I’m delighted to be able to extend our range of insurers with a quality brand such as Zurich. This further increases the choice of products for consumers looking to purchase protection online, making it even easier for them to find the right cover at a competitive price.”
Louise Colley, Zurich’s UK Director of Retail Protection, said:
“We’re thrilled to be joining the Choozi and GoCompare insurer panels. This partnership will enable us to extend our reach, providing more customers with flexible and affordable life insurance products to support them through life’s ups and downs. All of our policies are underpinned by fantastic customer service with policy benefits like Zurich Support Services, which offers access to free counselling, therapy and 24/7 advice on a whole range of wellbeing and lifestyle issues.”
Notes to editors:
In the UK, The Neilson Group Ltd sells thousands of proprietary policies monthly direct to consumers via its wholly owned subsidiary Neilson Financial Services Ltd (NFS) which was formed in 2012 and incorporates the retail brands British Seniors, Smart Insurance, Frankli and Zestylife. The Group also distributes a wide range of popular insurers’ products through its in-house protection aggregator and GoCompare partnership. Incorporating a full suite of distribution and policy administration capabilities, as well as a bespoke, proprietary IT platform and direct marketing business, means NFS can offer closely synchronized online and call centre operations to provide a complete omni-channel experience. These components can be combined to create compelling partnership propositions including white-labelling capability. The Neilson Group Ltd also offers specialist protection advice through its whole of market advice firm, Neilson Place, and is committed to the cross-sector working party voluntary Agreement on access to protection insurance for people with pre-existing medical conditions and disabilities, launched in 2020.
